separates from the men from the boys.
Some highlights...
Pro classes 250 cc/450 cc and the 125/250
turned out to be dominated by non other than Mini Moto sensation Derek
Costella. Hot on Costellas tail was Cameron Rodrigas - the two riders
checked out by lap three and never looked back! Brodie Humphries brought
home a solid 3rd. In the Pro open class Derek Castella and Cameron Rodriguez
sat it out and that opened the door for Rudi Williams to take a 1st overall
with Brodie Humphries with a close 2nd overall.
Int classes were more of a free for all with
racers changing positions all week long 250/450 was won with an impressive
ride by Derek Rogers with James Farnan coming in with a 2nd overall . In
the Open Int James Farnan put together a 1st overall and in the 125 cc 250
cc Taylor Monroe put together with a 1st overall!
250 cc/450 cc Nov class was lead by Dylan
Bauer for a solid 1st overall Dylan repeated the same for the Open Nov and
250 cc/450 cc Nov classes.
Schoolboy had no strangers to the front of
the pack 1st place going to Taylor Monroe with Dylan Bauer bringing up a
solid 2nd place ride.
Girls first...
65 cc-150 cc
This was a fun class to watch If you have not heard of Amanda Maheu, you
will - this Girl rips in the girls class & the boys class! Amanda Maheu
dominated with an impressive 1st overall with Lauren Hammond coming in 2nd
overall.
Supermini 9-16
One of the biggest upsets of the weekend in the 85 cc classes was Tyler
Churchill. This kid was setting some of the fastest lap times in
Wed/practice Tyler looked like he was a top contender until his week was
plagued by wrecks, injuries and bike problems.. Honda rider Brandon Lieth
and Darrel White took it from there and dominated the Supermini class by
checking out in the 2nd lap and riding at a pace of there own. Brandon
Lieths small wheel 2-stroke just could not match up to Darrel Whites big
wheel Honda CRF 150. Brandon Lieth never let Darrel White get get more than
a tie down length away but in the end White finished with a 1st overall and
Branden Lieth finished a tire tread behind him in all three moto's for a
impressive 2nd overall.
85 cc 12-16
Another dominating ride for Brandon Lieth with a 1st moto 1st overall by
over 20 seconds! in the 2nd Moto we witnessed Brandon Lieth and Tyler
Churchill tangle up in the first corner Churchill with his exhaust half
ripped off after Lieth ran Tyler Churchill's head over.. Lieth went to work
and rode the wheels off his bike back to 1st only to have his bike blow up!
1st overall went to JD Elliott and 2nd to Zane Johnson
85 cc Open
It was the Brandon Lieth show again checking out by lap two and never
looking back for a solid 1st overall. 2nd place went to a well deserved Ryan
Surratt.
85 cc 9-11
Moto 1 looked like James Gardiner was the man to beat but he was awarded two
DSQ so the #1 overall spots went to Ryan Surratt and # 2 went to Rookie
White.
65 cc 9-11
Can you say dominate? James Gardiner is the one to beat on 65 cc bike. WOW
this kid hauls the mail with style and finesse rarely seen on a 65 cc bike
..With a impressive 1st overall for all three days! 2nd overall going to
Chance Lucchesi.
65 cc open
Well...can you say dominate again? James Gardiner again pasted the
competition with a SOLID 1st overall with Chance Lucchesi coming in an
impressive 2nd overall.
This is the event to come to with over 27
Motos and 41 classes it was three days of fast bar banging adrenalin
